Production I.G.’s new spy drama Joker Game was highlighted in Animedia Magazine (Amazon US | JP), with new art of Lieutenant Sakuma and Miyoshi, illustrated by animation director Yasutaka Kubota (窪田康高).

The art of Joker Game is out of this world BUT beware that the setting is 1937 so if you’re Korean, Chinese, Filipino, etc. be aware that the characters lay on the ideology THICK. I don’t think the anime itself supports an imperialist ideology, but the characters sure do, so you’ve been warned, ok?
